Note: This is a full-time, temporary 2-month onsite project.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Coordinate rack & stack activities including installation of servers, storage, and network equipment
Coordinate and oversee structured cabling activities including vendor coordination and quality assurance
Perform installation, configuration, and validation of physical IT infrastructure components
Support setup and configuration of servers, switches, firewalls, and related infrastructure equipment
Configure network devices through serial console connections when required
Monitor installation progress and ensure alignment with project timelines and quality standards
Maintain accurate technical documentation including rack layouts, cabling maps, and validation records
Prepare weekly progress reports and final implementation documentation
Ensure compliance with GxP standards
Collaborate closely with local and global IT infrastructure teams throughout the project lifecycle




Support troubleshooting and resolution of infrastructure-related technical issues on-site
Ensure proper labeling, documentation, and handover of implemented infrastructure to local IT operations
Requirements
Completed IT education or comparable technical qualification
Minimum 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure support, system administration, or datacenter environments
Hands-on experience with rack & stack activities, structured cabling, and datacenter setup
Experience with VMware, Windows Server, Dell, and Aruba infrastructure technologies preferred
Basic understanding of network infrastructure including switches, firewalls, and SD-WAN technologies
Experience configuring network equipment via serial console
Valuable understanding of infrastructure documentation and implementation standards
Experience working in regulated or GxP-controlled environments is an advantage
Strong troubleshooting, coordination, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced project environment
Service-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
Experience working with international and multicultural teams
Fluency in English (written and spoken) required
Availability for full on-site assignment in Melbourne
Candidates may be required to provide a criminal record certificate not older than three months
