About this opportunity:
We are looking for an
emerging leader to join our world-class Event Delivery team as our Kitchen
Stewarding Team Leader.
Reporting directly to our Kitchen Logistics Manager,
you will work alongside the wider Kitchen team who thrive on a positive
culture, innovation and the delivery of our extraordinary events!
We are looking for
someone with a positive attitude looking to grow and develop in a high
pressure, high performing environment.
Key responsibilities
will include:
Assisting with overseeing team member management within the Kitchen Logistics department;
Delivering high standard preparation for all off our events, and must be able to manage staff in several sections simultaneously;




Assist in coordinating and delivering all arrangements related to supporting the kitchen team and food & beverage teams.
Ability to work effectively as part of a diverse team and follow directions from supervisors and leaders.
Assisting in training, leading and inspiring the Stewarding team members;
Assisting with the provision of adequate and clean operating equipment to meet the daily requirements of the kitchen and outlets;
Maintaining our high standards of food quality and ISO ***** food safety compliance.

Required Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in a kitchen stewarding, kitchen cleaning, hospitality, food production or logistics environment is desirable.
Strong understanding of workplace hygiene, cleaning and food safety standards.
Ability to safely operate commercial dishwashing and kitchen cleaning equipment.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness and sanitation standards.
Ability to work effectively as part of a diverse team and follow directions from supervisors and leaders.
Strong communication skills and a positive, professional attitude.
Flexible availability to work across a 7-day roster, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
Commitment to workplace health and safety and secure manual handling practices.
Valid working rights in Australia.
You must be 18 years or over.
