Take ownership of a broad finance role in a growing Australian business.
Having achieved approximately25% year-on-year growth for the past two years, thisnewly created positionwill work closely with the CFO & finance team to provide both management accounting expertise and commercial support across the organisation.
The chance
Reporting directly to the CFO, you will take ownership of a broad finance remit while partnering closely withSales and Operationsto provide meaningful financial insights and support informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Ownmonth-end reporting, including management accounts, journals, reconciliations, variance analysis and Board reporting support.
Coordinateforecasting, budgeting and financial modellingto support business planning and decision-making.
Managestatutory compliance (BAS, Payroll Tax, FBT), year-end requirements and small weekly & monthly payroll of 9, liaising with external accountants and auditors as required.
Business Partnering closely withSales and Operations, providing financial insights that support commercial performance and decision-making.
Take ownership ofinventory accountingand identify opportunities to improve finance processes, systems and controls.
About you
We're looking for a hands‐onManagement Accountantwho combines strong technical accounting capability with a commercial mindset and the confidence to engage with stakeholders outside of Finance.
Ideally, you will bring:
3+ years' commercial accounting experience
Accounting or Commerce degree (CA/CPA qualified or currently studying)
Strong management reporting and forecasting capability
Exposure toinventory accounting and ERP environments
Advanced Excel skills
