Payroll Officer – Maternity Leave Cover
Contract: October **** – July ****
Salary: $90,000- $96,000 + super
We're looking for an experiencedPayroll Officerto join a business in Perth's CBD on a maternity leave contract fromOctober **** through to July ****.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, is confident across payroll processes and has solid attention to detail.
Working alongside the Senior Payroll Officers, you'll provide support across the running of fortnightly and monthly payrolls, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.
Key responsibilities will include:
Processing and managing PAYG and Child Support
Managing novated leases
Assisting Senior Payroll Officers with fortnightly and monthly payrolls
Completing payroll reconciliations
Payroll checking and quality assurance
Supporting the wider payroll team with day-to-day queries and processes




Ensuring payroll data is accurate and compliant
About you
We're looking for someone who is:
Experienced across end-to-end payroll processes
Highly confident withExcel
Detail-oriented with strong attention to accuracy
A genuineteam player
Adaptable and comfortable working in a changing environment
Able to hit the ground running and contribute to a busy payroll function
Desirable experience
It would be advantageous if you have:
Mining industry experience
Experience working acrossmultiple rosters
Experience withaveraging earnings
