What we need from you:
Strong experience as aSoftware Developer / Software Engineerdelivering production software solutions.
Strong hands-on experience withPython.
Proven experience building and maintaining solutions usingAWS, particularlyServerless technologies.
Experience withInfrastructure-as-Code, preferablyAWS CDK.
Strong understanding ofDevOps practices and CI/CD, particularly AWS CodePipeline.
Experience working inAgile software development environments.
Ability towork autonomously in broad directionand take ownership of deliverables.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience working withmulti-disciplinary teams, including software developers, data scientists, ML engineers, business analysts and SMEs.
Experience deliveringProofs of Concept through to production capabilities.
Experience in agovernment agency environmentis highly desirable.

What you'll do:
Design, develop and maintainproduction software solutionsusing Python and AWS.
Develop and deliverAWS Serverless applications.
Build Proofs of Concept in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts and business stakeholders.
Take solutions from experimentation through toproduction and operational use.




Develop and maintainInfrastructure-as-Code, preferably using AWS CDK.
Implement and maintainCI/CD pipelinesand DevOps practices.
Contribute to technical documentation and software development standards.
Maintain existing production systems and undertake continuous improvement.
Work collaboratively within amulti-disciplinary Agile team.
Contribute ideas and technical expertise aroundemerging technologies and responsible AI.
Collaborate with data scientists and machine learning engineers to support AI/ML initiatives.
Contribute to improving code quality, development practices and delivery processes.
