We are searching for heartfelt, empathetic, and dependable individuals who cherish the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our cherished ageing clients, helping them stay independent and dignified in the comfort of their own homes.

This is aqualifiedpart-timerole that requires aminimum of 6 hours per day, and you must haveavailability of at least three weekdays per week during daytime hours.
This role will see you supporting clients in theCity of Greater Dandenong, City of Casey, Cardinia Shire, Frankston City, and surrounding communities.
Home Care Worker - key responsibilities may include (depending on client needs):
Assisting withpersonal care, such as showering, grooming, toileting and mobility assistance
Performinghousehold tasksto maintain a safe and tidy space, such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and laundry
Preparing meals and assisting with grocery shopping
Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms and shared living spaces
Providingsocial supportandtransportto appointments and community activities
Monitoringclient wellbeingand promptly reporting any concerns
Respectingeach clients preferences,cultural background,and values

Commitment to Person-Centred Care:Strong understanding of community care and a dedication to delivering high standards for clients and families.
Experience in a home care setting or providing domestics support is desirable

Mandatory Requirements:
Employment is conditional on being willing and able to provideallmandatory compliance documents prior to a successful applicants' first day.
Applicantsmust have or be willing and able to obtain:
Cert IIIIndividual Support,Cert IVAgeing Support (Or equivalent qualification)
Valid Victorian Drivers Licenceandaccess to a reliable, insured vehicle
CurrentFirst Aid and CPR certificate
Working with Children's Check (Employee)
Police Check
Up-to-date flu vaccinationand other necessary vaccinations in accordance with Uniting Agewell's Vaccination Policy
