About the Role
n
We are seeking a motivated and organised Project Officer to support the delivery of Skilling Queenslanders for Work (SQW) and other employment and training initiatives.
n
Working closely with participants, trainers, employers and community stakeholders, you will coordinate program activities, support participant engagement and progression, maintain compliance requirements, and help create solid employment outcomes.
n
What You'll Be Doing
n
n
Support participants from enrolment through to completion and employment pathways.
n
Conduct information sessions, inductions and engagement activities.
n
Monitor attendance, progression, engagement and support needs.
n
Provide practical employability support, including resumes, job applications and interview preparation.
n
Coordinate participant resources, training requirements and program activities.
n
Coordinate and book training venues, equipment and resources to support successful program delivery.
n
Plan and coordinate graduations, participant celebrations and other program events.
n
Build relationships with employers, community organisations and referral partners.
n
Assist with work experience, employment opportunities and participant placements.
n
Maintain accurate records, reporting and compliance documentation.

Prepare project updates and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
n
Support successful delivery of SQW and related training programs.
n

To Be Successful, You'll Have:
n
n
Experience in project coordination, training, employment services, community programs or a similar environment.
n
Experience supporting participants, students or job seekers to achieve positive outcomes.
n
Strong administration, organisation and project coordination skills.
n
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
n
Strong attention to detail and record-keeping capability.
n
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including maintaining spreadsheets, tracking participant data and producing reports.
n
Experience preparing written reports, analysing data and providing accurate project updates to internal and external stakeholders.
n
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
n
Strong stakeholder engagement skills and a participant-centred approach.
n
Confidence using Microsoft 365, CRM systems and reporting platforms.
n
Current Driver Licence and reliable transport.
n
Current Blue Card and Police Check (or ability to obtain).
n
