Job Description
We are seeking an experienced detail oriented full time Bookkeeper to join our team in a medium sized business enterprise in Cronulla, NSW.

What you'll be doing
n
n
Managing accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, reconciliations, and reporting
n
Processing weekly Payroll & HR for employees of multiple entities
n
Preparing
monthly/quarterly/annual
financial statements and BAS reports.
n
Assisting our external accountant with the preparation of tax returns
n
Maintaining general ledgers and subsidiary ledgers
n
Completing bank reconciliations and cash flow management
n
Providing administrative support
n
Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and taxation requirements
n
Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and procedures
n
n
What we're looking for
n
n
Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably in a small practice or similar workplace
n
Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices and procedures
n
Proficient in using accounting software such as MYOB or Xero
n
Proficient in Microsoft office, particularly Excel
n
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills
n
Certificate IV Bookkeeping or equivalent
n
