The Role
We're looking for an experiencedCloud Engineerto design, implement and maintain secure, scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure acrossAWS and Azure.
You'll work across cloud infrastructure, automation, networking, security and operational support, partnering with engineering, operations and security teams to improve the reliability and performance of cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy and manage cloud infrastructure acrossAWS and Azure.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and management usingTerraform, CloudFormation and Ansible.
Develop automation usingPython, Bash and/or PowerShell.
Implement cloud security best practices, access controls and governance.
Manage and troubleshootcloud networking, including VPNs, load balancing, firewalls and security groups.
Monitor infrastructure performance, reliability and cost.
Supportdisaster recovery, backup and business continuityrequirements.
Work with development, operations and security teams to integrate cloud solutions.
Maintain technical documentation covering cloud architecture, configurations and processes.
Participate in occasional out-of-hours support for technology changes.
What We're Looking For
Strong commercial experience acrossAWS and Azure.
Hands-on cloud infrastructure design, deployment and operational experience.
StrongInfrastructure as Codeexperience with Terraform, CloudFormation or similar.
Experience withDocker and Kubernetes.
Strong understanding of cloud networking and security.
Experience with cloud storage and infrastructure services.
Scripting experience withPython, Bash and/or PowerShell.
Experience with monitoring and observability tools such asCloudWatch, Prometheus or Azure Monitor.
Robust troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and the ability to work across technical teams.
Nice to Have
Experience withDevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Relevant degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent practical experience.
