Registered Nurse - Anaesthetics/Recovery and Scrub/Scout Hobart, TAS Full-Time and Part-Time, Permanent Remuneration under the Enterprise Agreement Our client is looking to hire a Registered Nurse with anaesthetics/recovery and scrub/scout experience to join a private hospital theatre team in Hobart, Tasmania.
About the Facility A private, mission-based hospital in Hobart, Tasmania, providing perioperative and surgical services across a range of specialties, with a genuine care-focused culture.
The Role Reporting to the Clinical Nurse Manager, you will work within the perioperative team across anaesthetics/recovery and scrub/scout duties, spanning a range of surgical specialties.
Your responsibilities will include: Providing anaesthetics/recovery and scrub/scout support across a range of surgical specialties Preparing and maintaining instrumentation and equipment for theatre lists Maintaining the sterile field throughout procedures Supporting the surgical team through the full case Applying ACORN standards and NSQHS requirements throughout theatre practice Escalating patient safety concerns as they arise What You Will Need Current AHPRA registration/practising certificate as a Registered Nurse Demonstrated anaesthetics/recovery and/or scrub/scout experience in an operating theatre environment Solid knowledge of ACORN standards and NSQHS requirements Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work within, and contribute positively to, a team Eligibility to work in Australia What Is On Offer Full-time and part-time permanent opportunities Remuneration under the enterprise agreement, including shift, on-call and postgraduate qualification allowances Sponsorship and relocation support may be available for suitable candidates A supportive, mission-based theatre team environment To apply, simply email your CV to ***************** in confidence and one of our recruitment specialists will contact you.
