Sante Recruitment is seeking a dual-trained Staff Specialist in General Medicine and Neurology to join a modern regional health service within the Hunter New England Health network .

The Opportunity The successful candidate will undertake a unique dual-specialty appointment , with the role divided equally between General Medicine and Neurology: 0.5 FTE General Medicine 0.5 FTE Neurology This structure provides the opportunity to maintain a broad General Medicine practice while also providing specialist Neurology services to the regional community.
Working within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment, the successful applicant will contribute to the delivery of high-quality specialist care across both disciplines.
The role provides excellent scope to: Provide specialist inpatient and outpatient medical care Manage a broad range of General Medicine presentations Provide specialist Neurology assessment and management Work collaboratively with medical, nursing and allied health teams Contribute to clinical education and supervision Participate in quality improvement and clinical governance Support the ongoing development of specialist services within the region Remuneration Benefits The position offers an attractive remuneration package together with salary packaging benefits, including:

Requirements Applicants must have: Specialist registration with AHPRA , or eligibility for specialist registration FRACP in both General Medicine and Neurology , or equivalent specialist qualifications recognised in Australia Candidates expecting to attain Fellowship within the next six months are encouraged to enquire SIMGs with RACP Substantially Comparable outcomes in both General Medicine and Neurology are encouraged to apply International Medical Graduates progressing through the RACP specialist assessment pathway are encouraged to discuss their individual circumstances with Sante Recruitment.
