FIFO L2/L3 IT Support / Infrastructure Technician The Role We re looking for an experienced IT Support / Infrastructure Technician to join a large resources organisation on a 3-month FIFO contract , with the potential to extend based on performance.
This is a hands-on site-based role supporting users and IT infrastructure across a remote mining environment.
Key Responsibilities Provide Level 2/3 IT support across desktops, laptops, hardware, software and user issues.
Troubleshoot networking, wireless, communications and connectivity issues.
Provide basic support across servers and wider IT infrastructure .
Work with technologies including Cisco, Dell, Cisco UCS, Pure Storage and wireless environments .
Support remote site users and manage incidents through to resolution or escalation.
Assist with general IT maintenance, troubleshooting and site technology requirements.
Work closely with internal IT teams and external service providers to resolve more complex issues.




About You Previous FIFO experience is essential .
Strong Level 2/3 IT support experience in a hands-on environment.
Positive knowledge across desktop support, networking, wireless and infrastructure .
Experience supporting users in mining, resources, utilities or another remote/site-based environment is highly desirable.
Cisco experience is advantageous, with exposure to enterprise infrastructure such as Dell, UCS or Pure Storage a bonus.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Comfortable working independently in a remote and challenging environment.
What's on Offer 3-month initial contract , with potential for extension.
