Join our Queensland Infrastructure team in Brisbane as a Pavement Engineer and contribute to the investigation, analysis, design and delivery of pavement solutions for transport and infrastructure projects across Queensland and Australasia.
You will work in a multidisciplinary environment alongside civil, geotechnical, drainage, structures, transport planning, construction and asset management specialists.
The Opportunity As a Pavement Engineer, you will develop practical, safe, sustainable and technically robust pavement solutions.
Working under limited supervision, you will take ownership of defined tasks and work packages while continuing to build your technical, project management and client engagement capability.
·Undertake pavement design, assessment and rehabilitation analysis for medium to large-scale infrastructure projects.
·Plan pavement field investigations, engage subcontractors, and interpret investigation and laboratory testing results.
·Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, schedules and explicit technical reports.
·Manage allocated work packages, including programme, budget, quality and technical risk, and contribute to proposals and client engagement.
·Support graduate and junior engineers through checking, coaching, training and knowledge sharing.

Is this role for you?
We are looking for a collaborative and organised pavement engineer who can demonstrate: ·A recognised tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, with eligibility for Chartership with Engineers Australia or an equivalent professional body.
·Preferably have completed or be working towards additional Pavement Engineering qualifications or a Masters degree.
·A minimum of five years' experience in pavement design and construction, including experience across medium to large-scale infrastructure projects.
·Experience planning, managing, supervising and interpreting pavement investigations.
·Working knowledge of pavement design software such as CIRCLY, Rubicon, ELMOD or FAARFIELD.
·Strong written and verbal communication, planning and organisation skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to build successful client relationships.
