ASAP start available Goulburn based with occasional working away NSW Government contracts About the Roles Road Worker - $***** per hour plus superannuation Working within a regional road maintenance crew, you will undertake hands-on construction, repair and maintenance activities across the road network.
Duties may include pavement repairs, drainage, roadside maintenance, signage, site preparation, traffic management and supporting plant operators and other skilled crew members.
MR Truck Driver - $***** per hour plus superannuation You will operate MR vehicles to transport materials, equipment, plant and crew between worksites while also actively supporting road maintenance and general civil labouring activities when required.
Bridge Worker - $***** per hour plus superannuation You will support bridge maintenance, repairs and civil construction activities across regional transport infrastructure.
Work may involve timber, steel and concrete components, structural maintenance, site preparation, material handling and the use of hand tools, power tools and small plant.
Location: Goulburn NSW Start Date: ASAP Duration: Approximately 6 months, with potential extension Working Arrangement: Depot and field based Travel: Regional travel and working away from home may be required Hours: Overtime and additional hours may be available based on operational requirements Key Responsibilities Depending on the position and your competencies, responsibilities may include: Perform road, bridge and associated civil infrastructure maintenance Undertake general construction and physical labouring activities Complete pavement repairs, drainage, roadside and asset maintenance Assist with bridge repairs involving timber, steel and concrete components Operate MR trucks to transport materials, equipment, plant and personnel Secure transported materials using appropriate load restraint methods Tow trailers and equipment within authorised vehicle limits Load, unload and safely move construction materials and equipment Operate hand tools, power tools and small plant safely Operate rollers, loaders, excavators or other plant where appropriately licensed and authorised Assist with concreting, site preparation and minor structural works Establish and maintain safe work areas and complete site clean-up Support traffic control and work-zone activities where appropriately qualified Complete vehicle, plant, equipment and site pre-start inspections Identify hazards,
defects and maintenance requirements Maintain accurate basic work, vehicle and operational records Follow Safe Work Method Statements and site-specific procedures Apply WHS, environmental, quality and fatigue-management requirements Participate in toolbox talks, pre-start meetings and daily work planning Work collaboratively with supervisors, drivers, operators and other crew members Assist with emergency or reactive maintenance activities where required Travel between regional worksites and stay away from home when operationally required Work overtime, additional shifts or changed hours when required About You Requirements will vary depending on the position, however suitable candidates will ideally offer: Current Construction White Card Unrestricted Australian driver's licence MR licence or higher for MR Truck Driver roles Workers on Foot certificate (or willing to obtain) Traffic Control qualifications, including TCR and IMP (or willing to obtain) Roadworks, civil construction or infrastructure maintenance experience Hand and power tool experience Safe work practices around vehicles, plant and active worksites Understanding of WHS requirements Physically fit for outdoor labouring Ability to work effectively in a field crew Willingness to perform general labouring duties Flexibility to work overtime and additional hours Willingness to travel and stay away from home Reliable attendance and safety-focused attitude Ability to follow instructions, SWMS and site procedures Ability to complete basic records and documentation Ability to pass police and reference checks Applicants must hold valid long-term Australian working rights.

Highly regarded: Load restraint experience Working at Heights qualification High Risk Work Licence Roller, loader, excavator or other plant competencies Bridge maintenance or structural construction experience Concreting, formwork, steel or timber construction experience Certificate II or III in Civil Construction,
or equivalent experience Required traffic management or Workers on Foot qualifications may need to be obtained at the candidate's expense.
