Hospitality Supervisor Marree, SA, Full Time, Hospitality Vacancy Listing Dates 14/09/2026 to 12/10/2026 Please Quote Reference Number ***** Skilled Hospitality Supervisor required Full time opportunity - 38 hours/week Join the Marree Hotel team Marree Hotel Custodians Pty Ltd ATF Marree Hotel Trust is currently seeking a Hospitality Supervisor to join their team.
The Hospitality Supervisor contributes to the productive and professional operation of Marree Hotel throughout both peak and off-season periods.
Duties and Responsibilities : Supervise bar, dining room and cafe/front-of-house operations during rostered shifts.
Determine daily work requirements, allocate duties and direct the activities of Bartenders and Food Beverage Attendants.
Prepare and manage front-of-house rosters in consultation with the Venue Manager, including approving reasonable shift changes and calling staff in or sending staff home in response to operational requirements.
Support recruitment of front-of-house employees and conduct induction, on-the-job training, coaching and performance guidance.
Maintain consistently high standards of customer service and respond to customer complaints, service issues and incidents.
Act as manager on duty when the Venue Manager is absent and exercise appropriate operational authority for the bar, dining and cafe areas.
Ensure compliance with liquor licensing requirements, Responsible Service of Alcohol obligations and hotel policies, including refusing service or directing patrons to leave where required.
Manage gaming operations and compliance within the scope of the role,



including supervision of gaming conduct and activities, required records, security of gaming areas and arranging remedial repairs to gaming equipment when required.
Maintain Responsible Person duties and compliance requirements applicable to the venue.
Hold and control keys for bar, gaming, stock and other secure operational areas as authorised.
Maintain stock control systems, conduct stocktakes, monitor stock levels, order routine stock and ensure goods are correctly priced and displayed.
Oversee cash handling, till procedures, end-of-shift reconciliation and secure handling of takings in accordance with hotel procedures.
Coordinate service requirements for tour groups, functions and other organised hospitality activity.
Ensure opening and closing procedures are completed correctly, including security, cash, stock and compliance checks.
Apply workplace health and safety procedures, identify hazards and take appropriate action to maintain a safe environment for staff and patrons.
Maintain or supervise the completion of operational, compliance and accounting records required for liquor, gaming and hospitality activities.




Authorise routine customer refunds or complimentary items within delegated limits and escalate significant matters to the Venue Manager.
Work cooperatively with the Head Chef, Administration Guest Services Coordinator and Head of Housekeeping to ensure coordinated hotel operations.
To be successful, applicants must have a minimum of two years' relevant hospitality experience.
Applicants must also have : Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) qualification.
Current Responsible Person approval applicable to the licensed premises.
Current Gaming Manager / RSG2 certificate.
Current driver's licence.
Supervisory experience is highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct hospitality staff in a busy customer-facing environment.
Sound knowledge of bar, food and beverage service, customer service and hospitality operating procedures.
Ability to understand and apply liquor licensing, RSA, gaming, workplace health and safety and venue compliance requirements.
Experience with cash handling, point-of-sale systems, stock control, stocktakes and ordering.
Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving and customer complaint resolution skills.
Our ideal candidate will also have : Ability to work independently, make sound operational decisions and take responsibility as manager on duty.
Ability and willingness to work a roster that includes evenings, weekends and public holidays as required by the hotel.
A salary of $80,000 - $90,000 will be offered to the successful candidate.
