Job Description
Yulong Stud is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Gardener to join our team at our prestigious stud farm in Nagambie, Victoria.

We are looking for self-motivated individuals who enjoy working as part of a team, demonstrate a solid work ethic, and bring relevant experience to the role. The successful candidate will have a background in either gardening or general farm/property maintenance, with the ability to operate independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
n
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
n
n
General Lawn care, which includes edging, mowing, fertilisation, snipping and re-seeding and overseeding.
n
Trimming bushes and plants according to horticultural best practices.
n
Providing standard care to shrubs, Lillypilly's and hedges.
n
Conducting pruning and hedging, including hedging to desired shapes.
n
Carrying out manual watering including the maintenance and operation of fixed watering systems.
n
Maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of all external areas including paths and hard surfaces.
n
Ensuring the Yulong grounds you are responsible for, and surrounds are kept clean and tidy.
n
Landscape and establish new areas and gardens as required.
n
Weed grounds and gardens as required.
n
Ensuring the maintenance of all gardening equipment you use.
n

What We're Looking For:
n
n
Previous experience in gardening, groundskeeping or property maintenance.
n
Knowledge of plant and lawn care, and the relevant seasonal maintenance.
n
Understanding irrigation systems, including maintenance and seasonal
adjustments.Ability
to operate relevant gardening equipment safely.
n
Experience with weed and pest control in compliance with chemical safety regulations.
n
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and demonstrate sound problem-solving capabilities.
n
Excellent communication and time management.
n
Self-Motivated, reliable, and professional in manner.
n
High attention to detail with a strong focus on presentation and property standards.
n
Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team.
n
Physically fit and able to carry out manual outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
