We are looking for an experienced Databricks Solution Architect to join a fast-growing Data & AI consulting organization in Sydney.

Databricks Solution Architect / Senior Solution Architect
Experience
10+ years of consulting and technology experience
7+ years in Data Engineering, Data Platforms, or Analytics
6–8 enterprise Databricks implementations delivered in production
Key Responsibilities
Design and lead enterprise-scale Data & AI solutions on Databricks Lakehouse
Architect scalable data platforms across AWS, Azure and/or GCP
Lead end-to-end Databricks implementations from discovery to production
Build and optimize data pipelines using Apache Spark, Databricks and Delta Lake
Drive performance tuning, cost optimization and platform scalability
Implement CI/CD, DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code practices
Support MLOps and modern AI workflows
Lead architecture workshops, technical discovery sessions and executive presentations
Work directly with global enterprise customers and senior stakeholders
Mentor engineering teams and drivearchitecture/governancebest practices
Must-Have Skills
Strong hands-on Databricks
Data Engineering & distributed data platforms
Data governance, security and platform modernization
Solid customer-facing consulting experience
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Databricks Data Engineer Professional Certification – Mandatory
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or related field.
Master's degree preferred.
