RedGum warmly invites applications for a Kindergarten Teacher to join our skilled and passionate Early Childhood team as the teacher of one of our two Kindergarten groups.

RedGum Kindergarten includes a Bush Kinder program and provides a beautiful, home‐like environment where each teacher is supported by a Teacher's Assistant.

Set on a beautiful bushland campus near Castlemaine, RedGum offers a supportive and team-oriented staff culture, an active College, a rich Steiner/Waldorf approach to early childhood education and a welcoming school community.

The successful applicant will have:

An approved Early Childhood teaching qualification.
n
Eligibility for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
n
Experience or training in Steiner/Waldorf education, or a willingness to undertake Steiner Education Training.
n




A strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practice.
n
Warm and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
n
Artistic, musical, handcraft or practical skills and interests.
n
Current First Aid and Child Safe qualifications.
n
n
