Uniting Preschool Caves Beach is looking for a Cert III Inclusion Support Educator to join our team and provide dedicated support to a child within our preschool environment.
n
This is a rewarding opportunity to use your skills to help a child participate in learning, play and everyday experiences while building positive relationships and supporting their individual development and wellbeing.

What You'll Be Doing
n
n
Build a positive, trusting and respectful relationship with the child and their family.
n
Support the child's learning, development, inclusion and sense of belonging.
n
Work in partnership with the Educator team and family to implement inclusive learning experiences and strategies.
n
Respond to the child's individual needs, support their emotional regulation, and encourage their engagement and participation in the learning environment.
n
Contribute to a secure, welcoming and inclusive environment for all children.
n
Maintain accurate documentation and follow relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
n
Work as part of a collaborative team and contribute to the ongoing quality of the service.
n

What We're Looking For
n
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
n
n
Certificate III in Children's Services.
n
A current Working with Children Check.
n




GECKKO National Child Protection Training Certificate.
n
First Aid Certificate.
n
Working Rights Check.
n
An understanding of inclusive practice and supporting children with diverse needs.
n
The ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
n
A caring, patient and inclusive approach.
n
A strong understanding of your responsibilities as a mandatory reporter and a commitment to child safety.
n
The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
n
A commitment to Uniting's values and our focus on creating safe, inclusive and person-centred environments.
