Victoria Point Sharks Sporting Club is looking for an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to join our management team and take ownership of the day-to-day operation of our busy Bistro.

We're looking for someone who is a strong leader, highly organised and passionate about delivering great customer service. This is a hands-on management role for someone who enjoys being on the floor, leading from the front and developing a solid team culture.

About the Role
n
As Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth and professional operation of the Bistro, working closely with our Head Chef, Operations Manager and senior management team.
n
Your key responsibilities will include:
n
Leading, motivating and developing the Bistro/front-of-house team
n
Delivering a consistently high standard of customer service
n
Managing busy lunch and dinner services
n
Staff rostering and maintaining appropriate wage levels
n
Recruitment, onboarding, training and ongoing staff development
n
Ensuring presentation and service standards are maintained across every shift
n
Working closely with the kitchen team to ensure efficient communication between front and back of house
n
Managing customer feedback and resolving issues professionally
n
Monitoring performance and identifying opportunities to improve the customer experience
n
Ensuring RSA, WHS and Club policies and procedures are followed
n
Supporting promotions,



functions and major Club events
n
Being actively involved on the floor during peak trading periods
n
About You
n
We're looking for someone who:
n
Has previous restaurant, bistro or hospitality management experience
n
Is a confident and positive people leader
n
Can manage a high-volume operation and remain calm under pressure
n
Has strong communication and organisational skills
n
Understands rostering, labour management and hospitality costs
n
Sets high standards and holds their team accountable
n
Is comfortable having difficult conversations when required
n
Has a genuine passion for hospitality and customer service
n
Is available across a flexible roster, including nights and weekends
n
Wants to become an important part of the Club and help continue developing our hospitality offering
