Delaware North Australia is hiring a casual Kitchenhand to join our team at Melbourne Airport. As a kitchenhand, you will be responsible for ensuring cleanliness, order and efficiency in the kitchen.

Must be available to work the evening shift.

What you will do?
n
n
Maintain consistent cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area
n
Conduct temperature and quality checks, effectively managing cross-contamination to ensure WHS compliance, displaying a strong commitment to meeting Food Safety standards
n
Support kitchen team members in establishing and sustaining an organised and efficient workspace
n
Take on hands-on cleaning duties, including sweeping and mopping floors, washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, waste disposal and management, operating a commercial dishwasher,



and handling cleaning chemicals
n
Execute food preparation tasks within a commercial kitchen workplace, showcasing excellent food presentation skills
n

More about you
n

Previous experience in a sandwich hand or kitchenhand, preferred
n
Food Safety Certificate
n
Passion and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced environment
n
Flexible availability across a 7-day roster, working the evening shift
n
n
