Dial-An-Angel Perth is seeking a Childcare Supervisor to join our caring crèche team located in the Perth Central Business District (CBD) on a fixed-term contract, making a meaningful difference in children's lives.

About the Role
n
This role is responsible for ensuring a safe, positive, and well-run crèche environment while supporting children's wellbeing, development, and daily care needs.
n
Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Supervise and care for children in a safe, engaging and supportive environment
n
Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities that support learning & development
n
Assist with toileting and nappy changing as required
n
Maintain hygiene and cleanliness, including sanitising toys and play areas
n
Monitor behaviour and encourage positive social interactions
n
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's care
n
Follow all relevant health, safety, and childcare guidelines
n




Provide guidance and support to childcare staff as required
n
n
Requirements:
n
n
Minimum 2 years' experience in a supervisory or senior role within a childcare or similar care environment
n
Current WA Working with Children Check (WWCC)
n
Current Police Clearance (assessed in line with role requirements for the duration of the fixed-term contract)
n
Current First Aid Certificate, including CPR
n
COVID-19 vaccination, where required by client sites or public health directions during the fixed-term engagement
n
Sound understanding of child development and behaviour management
n
Warm, patient, reliable, and professional approach
n
Relevant childcare qualifications will be considered favourably for this fixed-term role.
