The company provides innovative products and seasoned analysts to solve Australia's toughest EW challenges – from mission planning support and threat simulator receivers that assist with airborne training and operations — to ground-based counter radio-controlled improvised explosive device EW systems.

Reporting to the Finance Director, as a Senior Accountant you will be part of a high-performing finance team supporting SRC Aus's growing Defence portfolio.

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for delivering management and financial reporting, while working closely with stakeholders across the business to provide key information to support decision-making.



This hands-on role offers broad exposure across accounting and business partnering within a dynamic, mission-driven organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

Development of P&L;, balance sheet, capital and cashflow annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
n
Lead month end and year end close including journal entries and reconciliations
n
Prepare monthly management reports with performance analysis and commentary
n
Oversee payroll services including fortnightly payroll processing
n
Partner with Project Managers to drive project performance and cost control
n
Overseeing accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and payments
n
CA/CPA qualification (or equivalent), with a strong technical accounting background
n
5+ years' experience in a Senior Accountant or similar role
n
Prior experience within a project-based setting will be highly regarded
n
Strong Excel skills and experience using Xero
n
Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
n
A focus on continuous improvement and finance process optimisation
n
n
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain Australian Government (Defence) Security Clearance. Eligibility can be found at
