Uniplan Group is seeking an experienced Painter to join our manufacturing team in Armidale.
n
Whether you're trade qualified or have built your skills through years of hands-on industry experience, we'd like to hear from you.
n
We are looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years' painting experience in Australia, including demonstrated experience across interior and exterior commercial and/or residential construction.
n
This is an opportunity to secure stable, long-term local employment, working predominantly on brand-recent builds with one of NSW's largest modular building manufacturers.

Job Description
n
New Builds – Not Repaints
n
Our painting team works predominantly on brand-new modular buildings, from initial surface preparation through to the final quality finish.
n
You'll work across new residential and commercial-style builds within our Armidale manufacturing facility, rather than travelling between existing homes completing repaint or renovation work.
n
The Role




n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Preparing interior and exterior surfaces for painting
n
Filling holes, cracks and gaps and completing surface preparation
n
Applying paints and coatings using brushes, rollers and spray equipment
n
Confidently using spray equipment to achieve professional, high-quality finishes
n
Completing interior and exterior painting across new residential and commercial-style builds
n
Completing touch-ups and rectification work
n
Maintaining painting equipment, tools and work areas
n
Working collaboratively with other trades throughout production
n
Maintaining Uniplan's quality and safety standards
n

Desired Skills and Experience
n
What We're Looking For
n
n
Minimum 5 years' painting experience in Australia
n
Demonstrated interior and exterior painting experience
n
Commercial and/or residential construction experience
n
Strong experience using spray equipment
n
Excellent preparation and finishing skills
n
High attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
n
Ability to work independently and within a team
n
Strong reliability and work ethic
n
Trade qualification highly regarded, but not essential for experienced applicants
n
