We're looking for a Quality Control Coordinator to join our Quality & Test team in Brisbane.
n
This is a hands‐on role where you'll play an important part in ensuring our products, components and customer orders meet Emesent's high quality standards before they reach the customer.
n
What you'll do
n
You'll work across the full quality lifecycle, including:
n
n
Inspect incoming components and materials against drawings, specifications and engineering requirements.
n
Perform in-process quality inspections during assembly and sub-assembly builds.
n
Complete final QC inspections on new-build Hovermap payloads, RMA products and accessories.
n
Verify product functionality, workmanship, cosmetic condition and completeness.
n
Perform packing and shipping verification against customer orders and system records.
n
Conduct First Article Inspections (FAIs) for new or changed suppliers.
n
Raise and manage Non‐Conformance Reports (NCRs), particularly relating to supplied parts.
n




Support Engineering Change Notifications (ECNs) and New Product Introduction (NPI) activities.
n
Maintain calibration and preventive maintenance records for QC and production equipment.
n
Document rework activities and maintain accurate quality records.
n
Support ISO **** and Quality Management System activities, audits and corrective actions.
n
Work closely with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain and Logistics to resolve quality issues and keep products moving.
n
n
About you
n
You'll have 3+ years' experience in quality control, inspection or QC coordination, ideally within manufacturing, electronics or technology production.
n
You'll also bring:
n
n
Experience with incoming, in-process and outgoing quality inspection.
n
Experience with shipping/packing verification.
n
Competence using inspection equipment such as callipers, micrometers and multimeters.
n
Understanding of AQL sampling concepts.
n
Working knowledge of ISO ****:****.
n
Experience with NCRs and corrective action processes.
n
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow documented procedures.
n




Good communication skills and confidence working across technical and operational teams.
n
Experience using digital workflow tools such as Jira, Confluence or SharePoint.
n
A friendly, practical and proactive approach with a genuine willingness to learn.
n
n
Desirable experience
n
n
Cert IV or Diploma in Quality Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
n
ISO **** or Lead Auditor certification.
n
Electronics or electro‐mechanical assembly inspection experience.
n
IPC workmanship standards.
n
FAI, ECN or NPI processes.
n
ERP/inventory systems such as Fishbowl, FastFields or similar.
n
Internal or external quality audit experience.
n
