Sodexo has an exciting opportunity for an experienced HSE Projects Manager to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.Job DescriptionIn this role, you will lead a HSE team (four to five staff) to partner closely with key internal stakeholders, inclusive of but not limited to Sodexo office and operational leadership teams, clients, contracting partners and governing bodies to deliver Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) leadership to the delivery of construction projects.
You will play a critical role in driving safety culture, ensuring compliance, and supporting continuous improvement across our sites and strategic accounts.Based in Perth, this role involves weekly travel to remote sites, with flexibility required to support operational demands and mobilisation activities.Key ResponsibilitiesSafety Leadership: Drive a strong safety culture, deliver behavioural safety programs, and coach site teamsHSEQ Systems & Compliance: Ensure consistent application of HSEQ systems and compliance with WHS, ISO, client, and company standardsRisk & Assurance: Lead risk assessments, audits, and critical control processes across high-risk activitiesIncident Management: Oversee incident reporting, investigations,



and continuous improvement initiativesStakeholder Engagement: Act as the key HSEQ contact for clients, site leadership, and service partnersMobilisation & Projects: Lead HSEQ requirements for current site mobilisations and support business growth activitiesTraining & Capability: Deliver HSEQ training and ensure workforce competency and complianceReporting & Performance: Monitor HSEQ performance, analyse trends, and provide insights to leadershipEmergency & Injury Management: Support emergency response planning and injury management programsQualificationsProven experience in a senior HSE/HSEQ role, ideally in remote or resource environments, delivering constructions projectsEPCM eperience and construction backgroundStrong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and ISO standardsExperience in audits, risk management, and incident investigationExcellent proactive and consistent communication, reporting, and presentation skillsStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing prioritiesFlexibility to travel regularly and work across remote locations
