We are currently looking for a Diet Aide to join our team at the Chris O'Brien Lifehouse (situated within the RPA Hospital) in Camperdown.
THE POSITION
Communicate effectively with Dietitians, Nursing Staff, Speech Pathologists, Chefs, Catering Assistants, Managers and Team LeadersOrder meals for patients with special dietary requirements using Menu Management SoftwareSupervise plating line and perform final accuracy check of patient meal traysOrder patient meals to align with Meal Plans and documented patient information, in consideration of age, allergies,



preferences/dislikes, special dietary requirements and prescribed meal plans
THE PERSON
Display a positive attitude to daily challenges, willingness and flexibility to meet the needs of changing priorities and a resilient natureHas experience and is competent with using computersAn excellent eye for detail and time managementA sound knowledge in food and/or nutrition preferredPersonable, a team player who has exceptional communication skillsNPC National Police Check holder (or be willing to obtain this)WWCC Working With Children Check (or be willing to obtain this)
