This role operates on a7 days on / 7 days off roster, providing an excellent work-life balance while working within a modern production environment.During your 7-day shift block,accommodation will be provided, making this an ideal chance for candidates based in Melbourne or other locations who are open to working regionally.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on food processing and packaging equipmentDiagnose mechanical faults and implement effective repairsSupport continuous improvement initiatives to improve plant reliability and efficiencyWork closely with production teams to minimise downtimeEnsure all work is completed in accordance withfood safety and OH&S; standards

Trade qualifiedFitter / Fitter & Turner / Mechanical FitterStrong troubleshooting and fault finding skillsAbility to work both independently and as part of a maintenance teamCommitment to safety, quality, and reliability
