We're proud to be partnering with a very well run, privately owned builder specialising in delivering industrial and commercial projects throughout South East Queensland.

The business has developed an excellent repeat-client base through a personal, accountable and relationship driven approach to project delivery. With a strong pipeline of further work already in place, they are now looking for an experienced Project Manager to join the team on a long-term basis.

Your Job
n
You will take overall responsibility for the delivery of a circa $18m industrial project within a live manufacturing facility.
n
The project will require careful planning, clear communication and disciplined coordination to ensure construction activities are completed safely while minimising disruption to the client's ongoing operations.
n
You will be supported by an exceptional project team comprising a highly experienced Site Manager, Contracts Administrator and Site Engineer. This will allow you to focus on overall project leadership, client management, commercial performance and programme delivery.

Your Responsibilities
n
n
Provide clear direction and support to the site and project delivery team
n
Maintain a strong working relationship with the client and operational stakeholders
n
Manage the construction programme, procurement strategy and key project milestones
n
Oversee project costs, forecasting, reporting and contractual obligations
n
Coordinate consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and relevant authorities
n




Plan and communicate works affecting the live manufacturing environment
n
Identify project risks early and drive practical, timely resolutions
n
Maintain high standards across safety, quality and environmental compliance
n
Chair project meetings and provide accurate reporting to senior management
n
Ensure commissioning, defects and handover requirements are properly managed
n

Your Experience
n
n
Demonstrated experience as a Project Manager with a commercial or industrial head contractor / builder
n
A strong track record delivering industrial or technically complex commercial projects
n
Experience managing projects $15m - $30m in value
n
Exposure to live operational, manufacturing or industrial environments will be highly regarded
n
Strong commercial, contractual and construction programming capability
n
An ability to manage complex staging, logistics and stakeholder requirements
n
Confident communication skills and a professional, client-focused approach
n
The ability to lead an experienced team without unnecessarily micromanaging delivery
n
A relevant construction, engineering or project management qualification is preferred
n
