You will manage matters from initial client instruction through to resolution, providing high-quality legal advice, robust advocacy and exceptional client care.Your caseload will include motor vehicle accident, public liability and WorkCover claims within the Queensland jurisdiction.What's On Offer$150K - $190K salary package, depending on experiencePermanent Brisbane based opportunityEstablished plaintiff personal injury practiceDiverse caseload across CTP, WorkCover and public liabilityGenuine ownership of matters from initial instruction to resolutionWork closely with experienced senior legal practitionersOpportunity to further develop advocacy, negotiation and litigation experienceSupportive, professional and client-focused environmentAbout the RoleYou will manage a portfolio of plaintiff personal injury matters, providing strategic advice and representation throughout the claims process.Key responsibilities include:Managing personal injury matters from initial instruction through to resolutionHandling motor vehicle accident, WorkCover and public liability claimsConducting initial client consultations and assessing liability, quantum and prospectsDeveloping case strategies in consultation with senior practitionersPreparing and lodging claims within relevant legislative timeframesGathering medical reports, expert opinions,



witness statements and employment recordsDrafting correspondence, pleadings, settlement submissions and other legal documentsBriefing counsel and liaising with medico-legal expertsRepresenting clients during negotiations, mediations and compulsory conferencesPreparing for and representing clients in court proceedings where requiredMaintaining strong client relationships throughout what can often be a difficult period in their livesAbout YouYou are an experienced plaintiff personal injury lawyer who combines strong technical capability with empathy, commercial judgement and a genuine commitment to achieving positive outcomes for clients.You will bring:Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Juris Doctor (JD)Admission as a legal practitioner in QueenslandMinimum 3 years post-admission experience in plaintiff personal injury lawDemonstrated Queensland experience across CTP, WorkCover and/or public liability mattersStrong knowledge of relevant Queensland personal injury legislationExcellent drafting, negotiation and advocacy skillsStrong client management and communication skillsAbility to manage sensitive and complex matters professionallySound commercial judgement and a high level of integrityCommitment to ongoing professional developmentAbout UsWith Head Office in Cairns and offices in Townsville and Brisbane.
