Chandler Macleod is seeking experienced Support Needs Assessors to join a Federal Government client on a full time contract.In this role, you will deliver high-quality, person-centred assessments, working directly with participants to identify and articulate their support needs in a clear, evidence-based and respectful manner.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct support needs assessments with participants and their representativesAnalyse information and external evidence to support sound, evidence-based decisionsPrepare clear, accurate assessment reportsCommunicate assessment processes and outcomes clearly (virtual and face-to-face)Apply relevant policies, procedures and legislative frameworksIdentify and elevate complex or high-risk mattersCollaborate with internal stakeholders to support participant outcomesMaintain accurate records using case management systemsAdapt assessment approaches to suit individual participant needsAbout YouYou will bring:Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skillsExperience in assessment,



interviewing or case managementAbility to interpret evidence and provide clear, defensible recommendationsA commitment to person-centred, inclusive and trauma-informed practiceSound judgement, professionalism and ethical integrityAbility to manage competing priorities and deadlinesExperience working within or knowledge of NDIS or similar frameworks (highly regarded)Essential RequirementsRecognised tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, such as:Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech PathologySocial Work, Counselling, Psychology/PsychotherapyExercise Physiology, Dietetics, Rehabilitation CounsellingNursing (RN/EN), Education-qualified cliniciansNDIS Behaviour Support PractitionerExperience in support needs assessments or similar frameworksUnderstanding of person-centred and strengths-based approachesFor any queries, please If you fit the above criteria we would love to hear from you,
