Specialist role requiring ship-borne or land-based explosive ordnance magazine certification experiencePermanent Full-Time | Up to $175k packageCanberra-based | Remote considered for the right candidateCurrent NV1 security clearance requiredTake on a specialist engineering role focused on the integration, certification and safety assurance of armaments and explosive ordnance systems within a complex maritime acquisition workplace.You'll provide technical authority across design assurance, certification, engineering governance and acceptance activities, with a particular focus on explosive ordnance magazines, ammunition storage systems and associated platform integration.The RoleAs an Armaments & Explosive Ordnance Engineer, you'll act as a specialist SME across armaments and EO integration, working with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure technical, safety and regulatory requirements are met.Your responsibilities will include:Providing specialist engineering advice across armaments, explosive ordnance and magazine integrationConducting technical assessments, design reviews, design acceptance and certification activitiesSupporting the certification and safety assurance of ship-borne and land-based EO magazinesReviewing engineering deliverables and supporting hazard, risk,



verification and validation activitiesContributing to engineering governance, technical baselines, configuration management and assurance documentationAbout YouWe're particularly interested in:A degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronic Engineering or a related disciplineDemonstrated experience with ship-borne or land-based magazine certificationExperience across armaments, explosive ordnance, weapons systems or ammunition storageExperience within maritime acquisition, shipbuilding, sustainment, land systems or other complex engineering programsExperience supporting highly complex engineering environments and stakeholdersA current NV1 security clearance or higherExperience exercising Delegated Technical Authority, working within an Authorised Engineering Organisation (AEO), or holding/working towards CPEng would be highly regarded.Why Consider the Opportunity?
