A well-established healthcare organisation is looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join their team.
This is a hands-on, senior technical role protecting clinical and corporate environments across on-prem, cloud and hybrid infrastructure with real scope to shape strategy, not just execute it.You'll take a lead role in SOC/SIEM monitoring, incident response, threat hunting and vulnerability management, while mentoring junior engineers and helping drive Zero Trust adoption across the setting.
You'll also get exposure to emerging areas like AI security risk as the organisation adopts AI-enabled tools.What you'll be doing:Leading technical response to security incidents, from triage through to lessons learnedDaily monitoring across SIEM/SOC and EDR platforms (Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Entra ID)Proactive threat hunting - building and tuning detection logic beyond out-of-the-box alertsDriving Zero Trust principles: identity-first access,



least privilege, micro-segmentationSupporting vulnerability management, pen test coordination and maturity assessmentsMentoring junior team members and contributing to Digital Health's security strategyReporting on security posture to management and executive stakeholdersWhat you'll bring:5+ years hands-on cybersecurity engineering experience, including leading response to significant incidentsStrong working knowledge of Microsoft cloud security tooling (Defender, Sentinel, Entra ID) and traditional network/endpoint controlsGenuine hands‐on capability - you'll need to demonstrate real skills at interview, not just certificationsComfortable operating across both SecOps and service desk environmentsStrong written and verbal communication
