Conduct preventative maintenance, inspections, repairs and testing of Arjo equipment and associated healthcare productsRespond promptly to equipment breakdowns and service requests within the hospitalBuild robust working relationships with clinical, nursing, wards and support services teamsManage equipment servicing schedules to maximise equipment availability and complianceAccurately record service activities and equipment history within Arjo's service management systemMaintain spare parts inventory and ensure required parts are available onsiteSupport equipment installations, commissioning and user familiarisation where requiredEnsure serviced equipment meets relevant safety, quality and regulatory standardsWork with Arjo's broader Service and Operations teams to deliver customer outcomesIdentify process improvements that enhance service delivery and customer satisfactionProvide day-to-day technical support and maintenance for Arjo healthcare equipment at a Canberra hospitalRequirementsMechanical, electrical or electronics qualification or equivalent technical experience2-5 years' experience in equipment maintenance, field service, biomedical equipment servicing or a related technical roleStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilityExperience working in healthcare, medical devices,



hospital environments or a regulated industry is highly regardedExcellent customer service and stakeholder management skillsStrong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work and manage competing demandsConfidence using service management systems, tablets and mobile technologyAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with both hospital and Arjo teamsCurrent driver's licenceCurrent COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations are encouragedSuccessful applicants must undergo relevant reference checks, a national police check, and a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screeningCore CompetenciesDemonstrates expertise in equipment maintenance and servicing within healthcare environments, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards while delivering excellent customer service.
