Now ramping up underground production, Kathleen Valley represents one of the most significant new lithium operations globally and is central to Liontown's long‐term growth strategy.The OpportunityWe are looking for an experienced Risk & Compliance Advisor to support delivery of Liontown's co-sourced internal audit plan and contribute to the broader risk and compliance programme, while also supporting the Company Secretary on Company compliance matters, scheduled around delivery of the internal audit plan.
The role reflects Liontown's establishment of a Business Improvement/Internal Audit function, delivered on a co-sourced basis with an external internal audit provider.
This is a newly created position, reporting to the Company Secretary and works closely with, and under the direction of, the Principal Risk & Compliance, who sets, prioritises and reviews the role's audit and risk work programme, engaging with corporate and site teams across the business.




The role is based at Liontown's Perth head office in West Perth, with ad hoc travel to the Kathleen Valley Lithium Operation required to support audit fieldwork and reviews.What You'll Be DoingLeads delivery of assigned components of the co-sourced internal audit plan, including audit planning, scoping and schedulingCoordinates co-sourced audit engagements, including day-to-day liaison with Liontown's external internal audit providerLeads audit fieldwork, walkthroughs and control testing across corporate and site processesDevelops working papers and evidence in line with Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) standardsDrafts clear, factual audit findings and reports, and presents outcomes for reviewMonitors agreed management actions through to closure, escalating overdue items as requiredIdentifies process and control improvement opportunities arising from audit and assurance workMaintains risk registers, controls and actions within the Company's risk management systemSupports risk reviews and workshops with corporate and site teamsAssists with risk reporting for management and Board committeesAdministers and maintains the Company's governance, risk and compliance (GRC) system, including data currency and integrity,



user access management and system configurationProvides training and first-level support to GRC system users across the businessMonitors compliance obligations and related actions across the businessSupports compliance reviews and prepares associated reportingSupports the Company Secretary with reporting and compliance obligationsMaintains compliance registers and supports the coordination of compliance attestations across the businessSupports risk and compliance training and awareness activities across the businessWhat We're Looking ForProven experience in external audit, internal audit, risk or compliance, gained in a professional services firm or in industryExperience working in the resources or mining industry is highly desirableBachelor's degree in accounting, finance, commerce, business or a related disciplineCertified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification, or demonstrated progress towards oneCertificates or diplomas in risk management or auditing are highly regardedStrong analytical skills, including well-developed Microsoft Excel capability; experience with data analysis or visualisation tools such as Power BI is highly regardedClear, concise report writing skills, with the ability to present findings factuallyExperience administering a GRC or risk management information system is highly regardedNational Police Clearance (required prior to commencement)Pre-employment medical assessment (required prior to commencement)Why Liontown?
