The Network are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join a Federal Government setting and support the delivery, optimisation and ongoing management of enterprise technology infrastructure.This is a hands-on technical role covering cloud, virtualisation, infrastructure automation, IaC, cybersecurity, monitoring and DevOps.12 month contract + extension optionsMust be Canberra based and hold minimum NV1 security clearance.Key ResponsibilitiesProvision, configure, maintain and optimise physical, virtual, cloud and hybrid infrastructure.Manage cloud and hybrid/multi-cloud environments and support infrastructure upgrades and maintenance.Develop automation using scripting, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and orchestration tools.Monitor infrastructure performance, capacity, availability and security.Investigate and resolve complex infrastructure and security-related issues.Collaborate with infrastructure, security and development/DevOps teams.Support containerisation and modern application deployment practices.Drive automation,



continuous improvement and operational efficiency.Develop and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.Provide technical advice and recommendations to stakeholders.Key CriteriaCloud & Infrastructure: Strong experience managing and optimising enterprise infrastructure across physical, virtual, cloud and hybrid environments.Automation & IaC: Demonstrated experience with scripting, Infrastructure as Code, orchestration and automation technologies.Technical Problem Solving: Proven ability to resolve complex infrastructure and security issues, drive continuous improvement and provide technical advice to stakeholders.Desirable ExperienceExperience with Azure/AWS, Terraform/Bicep, PowerShell/Python, CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, monitoring tools and enterprise infrastructure platforms will be highly regarded.Federal Government experience is highly desirable.Apply NowIf you are a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, Cloud Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, DevOps Engineer or Platform Engineer looking for your next Federal Government opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.
