Mines Propagation P/L is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Wholesale Plant Propagation Nursery Staff to join our team in Park Ridge, QLD ****.
This is a casual position offering flexible work arrangements ideal for those seeking to gain experience in the horticulture industry or Working Holiday Makers looking to fulfill their 88-day or 6-month regional visa extension requirements (Subclass 417 & 462)Key responsibilitiesAssisting in the propagation of plants including seed sowing, striking cuttings and tubing up rooted cuttingsPreparing potting mixes and filling containers to specified standardsWatering, feeding and maintaining plant health throughout the growing cycleMonitoring plants for signs of disease, pests or nutritional deficiencies and reporting concernsPerforming regular greenhouse and nursery maintenance tasks, including cleaning and organisationAssisting with the packing and preparation of plants for wholesale dispatchOperating and maintaining basic nursery equipment and irrigation systems safelyRecording plant data and maintaining accurate propagation recordsSupporting the senior nursery team in meeting production schedules and quality standardsWhat we're looking forA genuine interest in plants,
