Since commencing in ****, we have remained committed to producing and delivering premium quality fresh produce.Prima Fresh values culture, passion, teamwork, family and a working environment committed to exceptional customer satisfaction.We are currently seeking an organised and motivated Orchard Administration Supervisor to coordinate orchard administration and supervise day to day orchard activities.Reporting to the Managing Director and working closely with orchard management, this position will support workforce coordination, record keeping, compliance, planning and the completion of daily orchard programs.Job Tasks and ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and supervise daily orchard activities, including picking, pruning, thinning, tree training and general orchard workAllocate daily tasks and monitor employee and contractor attendance, productivity and work qualityAssist management with coordinating irrigation, nutrition, spraying, pest and disease control and harvest programsMaintain accurate orchard records, job sheets, chemical records, timesheets and production reportsEnter and maintain orchard information in Agworld and other company systemsAssist with workforce planning and the coordination of seasonal labourCoordinate employee and contractor onboarding, inductions and compliance documentationMonitor labour, materials and equipment usage and report any issues or variances to managementAssist with harvest planning, bin movements, crop estimates and orchard reportingConduct toolbox meetings and support workplace health and safety proceduresMonitor compliance with company procedures, quality standards,
Fair Work requirements and relevant legislationSupport continuous improvement across orchard administration and work practicesSkills and ExperienceWe are looking for a well organised supervisor who can coordinate people, maintain accurate records and support the completion of daily orchard activities.The successful applicant will ideally possess:Previous experience in an orchard, horticultural or agricultural environmentExperience supervising employees, contractors or seasonal workersGood understanding of orchard activities such as pruning, thinning, spraying, irrigation and harvestingStrong administrative, organisational and record keeping skillsGood communication and problem solving abilitiesConfidence using computers, spreadsheets and record-management systemsExperience with Agworld or similar agricultural software would be advantageousKnowledge of workplace health and safety and employee compliance requirementsAbility to work collaboratively in a busy and changing environmentRecent graduates with a relevant qualification and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
