With us, you will work with fun colleagues who have a shared passion for making a difference in the lives of individuals and transforming communities for the better.About the CentreMount Alexander Shire Council owns and operates four outdoor swimming pools located in Castlemaine, Harcourt, Maldon and Newstead.We are seeking a team of Qualified Swim Teachers to deliver a Learn to Swim program at the Castlemaine Outdoor Pool throughout the outdoor pool season, running from December to March.About the roleAs a Swim Teacher at Castlemaine Swimming Pool you will be developing and delivering lesson plans that promote swimming skill building in school aged children, combining stroke development with water safety and enhancing the overall confidence and ability of your students.Structure and design lessons with appropriate activities that challenge and develop your students swimming and water safety abilityRecommend students for level progression as appropriateTeach and model effective problem solving skills and conflict resolution skillsThis is a Casual role with an hourly rate of up to $***** + super & Y Benefits.About youYou will be passionate about inspiring and developing water safety and swimming skills in children and young people.
Experience in other teaching or coaching roles is a bonus but not necessary.
