This approach reduces risk and enhances efficiencies making us a leading and trusted partner every step of the way.The RoleRole PurposeProvide engineering oversight, QA governance and technical support across EnerMech Gladstone workshop and field mechanical services, including valves, flange management, joint integrity, pressure testing and mechanical integrity activities.The role ensures safe, compliant and commercially sound delivery aligned to client specifications, Australian Standards and NATA requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesEngineering GovernanceProvide engineering support across workshop and field activitiesReview and approve procedures, ITPs, test packs and method statementsEnsure compliance with ASME, API and relevant Australian StandardsSupport tenders, technical clarifications and risk reviewsValvesProvide technical oversight for valve inspection, refurbishment and testingEnsure compliance with API,
ASME and client valve specificationsReview valve test and repair procedures and QA/QC documentationSupport workshop capability uplift in valve testing and repairJoint Integrity and Flange ManagementSupport flange management and bolting programsEnsure alignment with relevant standards and client standardsReview torque calculations, gasket selection and bolting proceduresProvide governance for joint integrity documentation and traceabilityPressure Testing (Hydrostatic and Pneumatic)Develop and review hydrostatic and pneumatic test proceduresEnsure safe execution of high energy testingMaintain NATA compliance and audit readinessEnsure calibration control and test traceabilityMechanical Integrity and QA QCProvide oversight of pressure vessels, piping and mechanical equipmentCoordinate and review NDT activitiesEnsure MDR completion and quality complianceSupport technical investigations and root cause analysisChemical Cleaning and System PreparationOversee flushing, purging, nitrogen and dosing activitiesEnsure metallurgy compatibility and safe chemical handlingVerify cleanliness and acceptance criteriaWorkshop and Machining SupportProvide engineering support to machining and refurbishment workReview tolerances, repairs and component suitabilityYou AreKey RequirementsDegree in Mechanical EngineeringHeavy industry experience (oil and gas, LNG, power or mining)Robust knowledge of pressure systems and piping codesExperience with valves, joint integrity and pressure testingExposure to NATA accredited environments preferredRPEQ or potential to obtain asapDiversity & InclusionEnerMech is dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive organisation.
