They are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join their Brisbane-based team.The RoleAs the Senior Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for the accurate, compliant and timely delivery of end-to-end payroll services across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
This is a hands-on role requiring robust award interpretation capability, advanced proficiency in systems, and ownership of statutory and compliance obligations.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess end-to-end fortnightly payroll across multiple entities and jurisdictions, including onboarding, change-of-details, transfers, terminations, redundancies and leave payoutsAccurately interpret and apply industrial instrumentsManage payroll tax across multiple states including calculations, lodgements and reconciliationsOversee superannuation processing and compliance, including quarterly contributions and query resolutionSupport PAYG withholding obligations in coordination with finance and external accountantsManage payroll-related WorkCover activities including processing payments, reconciling reimbursements, liaising with insurers,
