Ongoing, full-time position based in Shepparton, with potential additional rolesWork in a team dedicated to helping people make positive changes to their livesEarn $100,894 - $114,476 per year plus superannuationAbout This RoleOngoing, full-time position based in Shepparton, with potential additional rolesWork in a team dedicated to helping people make positive changes to their livesEarn $100,894 - $114,476 per year plus superannuationCommunity Correctional Services (CCS) contributes to the safety of the community by applying practices that reduce reoffending and connecting individuals to programmes, services and community.
CCS provides management of individuals on court orders, people who have committed serious sex and violent offences on post sentence supervision, and prisoners on parole.About The RoleAdvanced Practitioners within the court case management stream of CCS will manage a case load of predominately complex and high-risk individuals who have committed offences.
This involves conducting risk assessments, preparing case plans, providing interventions, proactively challenging offending behaviours, addressing the underlying factors in offending whilst directing, and monitoring compliance with court order obligations.
This role must also support individuals to successfully complete their court orders, while balancing risks to community safety.Key Responsibilities IncludeManage a caseload of predominately complex and high-risk individualsMotivate and influence staff in best case management practiceProduce written reports with appropriate analysis and recommendations to senior stakeholdersApply sound judgement in the identification and assessment of individual riskDevelop and maintain relationships with cross-government and community-based stakeholdersAbout YouDemonstrated experience and knowledge of best practice case management frameworks including managing clients with complex presentations and conducting risk and needs assessments in a human services context.Ability to implement theoretical concepts to reduce risk and maximise individual outcomes.Demonstrated understanding and capability in leading, managing and developing staff responsible for operational service deliveryPays attention to words, expression and body language; recognises behaviours that promote a culture of inclusionWhy work with us?

Dependant on the role, other checks may include VicRoads checks, drivers licence checks, medical checks, Working with Children Checks, and Declaration of Private Interests (for executive and responsible officer roles).
