Responsible for leading and supporting the site's training and competency systems, ensuring employees are appropriately trained, assessed and compliant with site and legislative requirements.
The role also oversees Training Advisors, Trainer/Assessors and Training Governance, while supporting training systems, budgets and continuous improvement.Key requirementsStrong experience in mining training and competency systemsCert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE)Experience with INX or similar training management systemsStrong understanding of training compliance, competency verification and nationally recognised trainingExperience leading or supervising a training teamAbility to develop and implement site training programsGood understanding of mining operations and workplace safetyStrong administration, record-keeping and reporting skillsAbility to manage budgets and work to business requirementsDemonstrated commitment to Evolution Mining values
