Drive Customer Success.Metroll is one of Australia's leading manufacturers and suppliers of steel building products, servicing residential, commercial, industrial, rural, and infrastructure markets nationwide.We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused Internal Sales Representative to join our Butler team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, providing exceptional customer service, and working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.As a key member of our sales team, you'll work closely with customers, external sales representatives, and operational teams to provide accurate quotations, process orders, and deliver outstanding service from initial enquiry through to delivery.About the RoleThis is a varied and hands-on position where you'll be the first point of contact for many of our customers.
You'll help customers find the right solutions for their projects while ensuring a seamless sales and service experience.Working closely with our manufacturing and operations teams, you'll play an important role in supporting sales growth and maintaining strong customer relationships across the region.This is a full-time position with working hours of 6:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday, including a 1-hour lunch break.Your responsibilities will include:Responding to customer enquiries via phone, email, and in personPreparing quotations and processing customer orders accurately and efficientlyBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with customers, builders, contractors, and trade customersProviding product information and technical support on Metroll's range of steel building productsCoordinating with production and dispatch teams to ensure customer requirements are metFollowing up quotations and identifying opportunities to secure current businessAssisting with customer account management and sales administrationResolving customer queries and providing outstanding customer serviceSupporting the external sales team in driving business growthMaintaining accurate customer and sales recordsAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will bring:Previous experience in internal sales, customer service, sales support, or account managementStrong communication and relationship-building skillsA customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering excellent serviceThe ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectivelyStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsProficient computer skills and experience using business systemsA positive attitude and willingness to learnThe ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also managing tasks independentlyHighly RegardedExperience within building products, manufacturing, steel, construction, roofing, fencing, or related industriesKnowledge of steel building products or the construction sectorExperience using ERP systems such as ProntoExisting relationships within the building, construction, or trade sectorsWhy Join Metroll?
