Three Mills Bakery was established 10 years ago and from humble beginnings, has expanded across the ACT, building to a 100+ person team, with multiple sites, and big plans for future growth.
Each of our sites has its own personality – some are all about the dine-in cafe experience, some are grab-n-go for busy workers and shoppers.
Whatever the site, customer experience is key.

About the chance
As a Front of House Team Member, you're the moment of truth for every customer who walks through our doors.
The bread, the pastry, the craft, all of it reaches the customer through you.
On a typical shift, you'll greet every customer warmly, not with a script, with a real welcome.
You'll know the product, what makes it special, what's in it, what goes well with it, well enough to make a genuine recommendation.
You'll handle transactions accurately and efficiently across cash, card and POS, and keep your section clean, presented and stocked throughout the shift, not just at the start.
You'll show up to the briefing, listen, and contribute.
If you see something on the floor that matters, you'll say so.
You'll follow our food safety and hygiene standards because you understand why they matter, to the product and to the customer.




You'll support your teammates, when someone's stretched, you help, when you're ahead, you look for where you can add.
And when a customer raises a concern, your first instinct is to make it right.
Hours:
Full time with the expectation of working one day on a weekend, minimum.
Perks:
No night shifts.
Day time only.

A mature attitude and calm, friendly communication style go a long way here, you're often the first and only person a customer interacts with.
Ideally you have some customer-facing experience, hospitality or retail, and you're ready to bring genuine energy to a fast-paced team.
Ideally you have your own transport, our roles can span early starts and different sites, and Canberra's public transport doesn't always make that easy.
