You'll oversee design inputs and outputs from inception through delivery, working closely with multidisciplinary engineering, construction and client teams.
The role covers overhead lines, underground cables, structures, and protection and control systems, and gives you the mandate to drive technical consistency, manage risk, and shape how design solutions perform across the project.Key AccountabilitiesLead transmission line and substation design from concept to detailManage design interfaces across HV and MV infrastructureDrive constructability, systems integration and technical governanceOversee cost, schedule, design change and risk using CPI, SPI and EVMLead SiD, HAZID/HAZOP and CoM reviews and deliverablesMentor junior engineers and build internal design capabilityManage external consultants and cross-functional communicationRequired Skills and CompetenciesBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering10+ years leading HV transmission (220kV+) design, concept to detail5+ years fieldwork supporting hands‐on engineering and site workStrong knowledge of IEC, IEEE and AS/NZS standardsChartered status (RPEV, RPEQ, NER, CPEng) or working towardsAbility to complete a successful pre-employment medical and National Crime check.ACCIONA has been given the Top Employer ****, ****, **** & **** certification in Australia, which certifies the company's commitment to excellence in human resources management and those who focus on putting their people first through their exceptional HR policies.
