THE OPPORTUNITY
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Trade Sales Representative to join our Queensland Trade Sales team, servicing the Brisbane Southside region.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in the steel, building products, construction, roofing, or manufacturing industries who thrives on developing customer relationships, identifying opportunities, and driving sales growth.
You'll inherit an established customer portfolio while actively pursuing recent business opportunities across your territory, supported by an industry-leading product range and trusted brand.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING




Manage and grow relationships with existing trade customersDevelop new business opportunities through targeted prospecting and networkingIdentify project opportunities and convert them into salesPrepare quotations and tailored customer solutionsPartner with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomesStay across market trends and identify opportunities for growthRepresent the Stratco brand professionally in the marketContribute to a safe and positive work environment
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
Essential:
Experience in the steel, construction, building products, roofing, manufacturing, or related industriesProven track record in B2B sales and account managementStrong commercial acumen and negotiation skillsAbility to build long-term customer relationshipsSelf-motivated with a genuine drive to achieve resultsCurrent Driver's Licence
You'll Stand Out If You Have:
Existing industry networks in the Logan / Ipswich / Brisbane South regionExperience working with builders, contractors, fabricators, or trade customersConfidence identifying and securing recent business opportunities
