Provide culturally responsive support, advocacy and brokerage to First Nations, CALD and Pasifika participantsBuild and maintain relationships with Elders, cultural leaders, community-controlled organisations and key stakeholdersContribute to multidisciplinary assessments, care planning and service deliveryPromote cultural safety, trauma-informed practice, recovery and inclusionSupport cultural capability development across the team through knowledge sharing, training, resources and stakeholder engagementInvolve participants and families in care decisions while maintaining confidentiality, cultural sensitivity and professional standardsMaintain accurate records, support quality improvement activities, and ensure compliance with safeguarding, privacy, workplace health and safety and organisational requirementsRequirementsStrong cultural knowledge and community connections with First Nations, CALD and/or Pasifika communitiesExperience providing cultural support, advocacy or service navigation for people experiencing mental health and wellbeing challengesAbility to build effective relationships with Elders,



community-controlled organisations and key community stakeholdersExperience supporting cultural capability and culturally responsive practiceAbility to work effectively within a multidisciplinary teamUnderstanding of social and emotional wellbeing and recovery-oriented approachesStrong communication, interpersonal and record-keeping skillsProof of COVID-19 vaccination status (or as required by legislation and WMQ policy)Relevant probity checks required by legislation and WMQ Limited policyCurrent Driver's Licence and willingness to travel for workCore CompetenciesDemonstrates solid cultural knowledge and community connections with First Nations, CALD, and Pasifika communities, while effectively supporting cultural capability development and trauma-informed practices.
