We're looking for a motivated Concrete & Aggregates Laboratory Technician to join our Canberra team.
Reporting to the Laboratory Supervisor, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the quality and performance of our concrete and quarry products through sampling, testing, reporting, and laboratory operations.Whether you're an experienced technician or come from a construction, trade, or technical background, this is an excellent opportunity to further develop your skills and build a rewarding career with one of Australia's leading construction materials companies.What you'll be doing:No two days are the same in this varied role.
You'll:Collect concrete and aggregate samples from sites across the regionPerform laboratory testing in line with industry standards and approved proceduresPrepare samples and accurately record and report test resultsCalibrate and maintain laboratory equipmentSupport quality assurance and compliance testing activitiesMaintain laboratory records and documentation in line with NATA accreditation requirementsChampion protected work practices and contribute to a strong safety cultureWhat you'll bringWe're looking for someone who is reliable, safety-focused, and eager to learn.
You'll ideally have:Previous experience as a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Laboratory Technician, or experience in a construction, trade,



or related industryA strong commitment to safety, quality, and attention to detailWell-developed computer skills, including Microsoft Office applicationsEffective time management and organisational skillsThe ability to balance competing priorities and meet deadlinesKnowledge of Australian Standards and industry testing requirementsExperience in aggregate testing (highly regarded but not essential)A current driver's licence (tool-of-trade vehicle provided)Why join Boral?
