About the roleAFROTECH is seeking an IT Support Officer to join our growing team in Mansfield, QLD.
This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to become a key member of our IT support operation.
In this role, you will provide essential technical support and assistance to end-users, you will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving a wide variety of IT issues, whilst maintaining a high standard of customer service.
This position is integral to maintaining our clients IT infrastructure and supporting their users to work effectively.Key responsibilitiesProvide first and second-line technical support to end-users via telephone, email and in-personDiagnose, troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and network-related issues in a timely mannerInstall, configure and maintain IT equipment including computers, printers and peripheralsManage and prioritise support tickets using IT service management systemsPerform regular system maintenance and updates to ensure optimal performanceDocument and track all support incidents and resolutions for future referenceAssist with user onboarding and IT orientation for new employeesContribute to the development and maintenance of IT documentation and knowledge basesSupport IT projects and system implementations as requiredMaintain security compliance and follow IT policies and proceduresSupport end users with Microsoft cloud-based servicesWhat we're looking forProven experience in an IT support or help desk setting, ideally 1+ years in a similar roleStrong technical knowledge of Windows and/or macOS operating systemsSound understanding of networking concepts,
